It’s time for the 2024 Renaissance Neighborhood Decorating Contest. Easier than ever – no nominating, no way to miss the nominating deadline – let’s just stop talking about nominating.
To enter, just have your house/yard decorated by December 15. Judging will take place between December 16 and December 22. Winners will be announced on Facebook and Nextdoor on December 23rd. Prizes are yard signs and bragging rights.
To vote on the winner of the coveted “Residents’ Choice” contest, pour the eggnog in the thermos, load up the kids and the dogs and tool around our lovely neighborhood. All houses in the neighborhood EXCEPT for that of Mr. Partridge (14th Place, just west of Columbia, our Decorating King Emeritus) are eligible to win. The “Resident’s Choice” winner will be decided by YOU. (And yes, that apostrophe in the category title does keep moving, to the chagrin of this longtime editor.)
To vote for a house, please send an email to renaissance.neighbors@gmail.com with “Holiday vote” in the subject line and the address of the house in the body of the email. Vote for only one house, please. This vote is open to all residents of Renaissance, whether or not you’re a member of the Association.
Deadline to vote is Sunday night, December 22 at midnight.
Renaissance Neighborhood Association (RNA) is a group of residents who volunteer their time to promote a united community by organizing events and by sharing information that affects our neighborhood. RNA is not a Homeowners Association ( HOA)!
